Five years ago today, we had to say good bye to you Mom...on a very sad Sunday. We sat with you as you took your last breathe and held your hand. I was really sad yesterday as I was reminded that it was five years ago that I last heard your voice, or that I spoke to you. You have missed so much in the last 5 years...happiness, laughter, great card games, family gatherings, heartache, challenges and more. I can't count the number of times I have wished you were here with us. I hope to always make you proud. You are missed and cherished. You are thought of with love and your life long teachings remain with me always.... - Posted by: Laureen Spitzke (Daughter) on: Feb 20, 2016

am truly sorry for your loss; she was a wonderful beautiful lady who had the most amazing smile and laugh that could light up a room… When I attended Herzing College in 2004, I was unsure of myself 3-4 months into the office assistant course. Not knowing weather I was smart enough to get through it all; but Margaret helped me get through my fears of not finishing my course. She had such a beautiful positive energy that gave me a boost of positive hope for the future. I started to look forward to going to class everyday and worked hard throughout my 10 month course, never missed a day and achieved the deans list as well as perfect attendance and Graduated in 2005! I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her…She was the most Amazing teacher I have ever had in my life! She was also my sister’s teacher in 2002/2003. My sister and I both told her how much she reminded us of our Grandmother Lillian Grant as she looked so much like her and had the same beautiful smile and energy. Our Grandmother also past from Cancer at the age of 66. My sister and I are blessed to have had her as a part of our lives. She has truly helped us with our future. I recently came across these mugs that reminded me of Margaret and wished I would have found them on Graduation day to give them to her…"To Teach Is To Touch A Life Forever." & “God Bless you as you serve by sharing your Knowledge with others” She has Truly touched many people’s lives… I wish that I would have known about her passing sooner; so that my sister and I could have attended her funeral… May God Bless you and you’re Family Always... xxx - Posted by: Pamela Palmquist (Student at Herzing College) on: Oct 24, 2012
