Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER YURKOWSKI January 7, 1927 - February 22, 2011 Peacefully on February 22, 2011, Peter Yurkowski passed away. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Helen of 48 years; three daughters: Darlene Hargot (James), Dianne Kroll (David) and Kathleen Lovie (Merv); three grandchildren: David, Courtney and Kerry; special fourth daughter Susan Ichiiwa (Wayne and Haley). Peter was predeceased by his parents Frank and Helen, sister Mary and brothers John and Victor. Peter also leaves behind a brother Walter (Nellie) and sisters-in-law Effie Yurkowski, Lydia Krueger, Nadia Klingzahn; and extended families in Canada and Germany. Memorial Service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2528 King Edward Street, on Saturday, February 26, at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Rev. Richard Beinert officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. Donations in Peter's memory can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Peter, Dad we will miss you deeply but take comfort in knowing that you are pain free with the Lord.

Peter Yurkowski was my grandpa I remember when he used to take me to the zoo when I was little...those memories will never fade I miss you so much grandpa I wish you were here but I know that you're safe with the Lrd.
