CAROLINA VIKI (REY) (nee PANAGAPKA) Carol died peacefully surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital, February 22, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband of 53 years Peter Rey, Carol will be greatly missed by daughters Kathy, Kim, Kendra (Fred), Kelli and son Curtis (Josée). Her grandchildren Gitta, Graeme, Bradley, Tyler, Rebecca, Jessica, Fred, Chris and Kelly held a special place in her heart. She leaves two sisters, Joan Lacroix and Ann Sabourin. Carol was predeceased by her parents, six brothers and four sisters .... when her sister Helen passed; Carol said, When it's time she will let go and then there will be one hell of a perogy making party upstairs! In keeping with Carol's wishes, we ask you to join us for a gathering of family and friends to share laughter, good memories and food on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Western Canada Aviation Museum located at 958 Ferry Road at Ellice Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in memory of Carol to Salvation Army - Community Venture Program PO Box 8200, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4W5.
