Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JOYAL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George Joyal, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. George leaves to mourn his wife Irene of 36 years; his children Gaetan (Penny) Joyal, Margueritte (Joe) Kaptein, Jim (Kathy) McKuski, Walter (Cheryl) McKuski, Grahme (Jodie) Macfarlane, Christine (JC) Poirier; and brother and sisters Henri, Yvette, Rene and Floyd. George was predeceased by his loving mother and father, Omer and Ida Joyal; and brothers and sisters Raymond, Jean, Gabriel, Leon, Mariange, Jeanine, Carmel, Marcel and Florence. George was born in Ste. Agathe on March 30, 1929. Some of George's fondest memories were that of the time spent as a Lumberjack and an Ironworker. From an early age, George demonstrated his passion for inventing and creating, and many of the items he built are being used to this day. George will be truly missed by his family and friends. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place at the Ste. Agathe Parish Cemetery at a later date.
