ORYSIA YARISH March 2, 1935 - February 21, 2011 On Monday, February 21, 2011 Orysia Yarish (nee Perich) passed away at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her two children, Andrew Yarish of Edmonton and Nadia Yarish of Calgary, her grandson Travis, brother Ted Perich of Winnipeg, nephews, David and Doug and niece Susan of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Anna Perich of Winnipeg. Orysia was blessed with a beautiful voice. She appeared as a guest vocalist on CBC Radio Winnipeg many times on programs such as Prairie Schooner with the Jimmy Gowler Orchestra. Moving to Edmonton, she sang in the chorus of Edmonton Opera for more than 15 years. In respecting our mother's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer's Society. Many Thanks to the kind and gracious staff of Allen Grey Continuing Care Centre.
