RACHELLE ALARIE (nee ARGUIN) On Monday, February 21, 2011, with her husband by her side, Rachelle died at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn Rachelle is her husband Henri; daughter Caroline (Paul); grandsons Matthew and Justin; as well as sister Yvonne Rodrigue. She was predeceased by her parents William and Marie Blanche Arguin; brothers Armand, Ernest, Lionel, Andre; sisters Beatrice Brailsford, Marie Blanche Bourgeois, Alida, Lydia Dean, and Lilliane Mailhiot. Rachelle was born in Gravelbourg, SK on November 20, 1925. She later moved to Winnipeg to work and many years later in August 1965, she married Henri Alarie. They enjoyed 45 happy years together. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, #17 Elie Street, Elie, MB, with Rev. Fr. Isaie Blanchette, presiding. For those who wish viewing will be held prior to Mass. Interment will follow in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery, Elie, MB. A reception will follow in the Veteran's Hall, 34 Main Street, Elie, MB. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful homecare aides that helped Rachelle as well as to all of the staff of doctors and nurses at the Grace General Hospital for their attentive care.
