EVELYN (EB) SOUVIE (nee NATYNCZYK) April 4, 1956 - February 22, 2011 It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Souvie at the age of 54 years. Evelyn leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Katherine Natynczyk; brother Walter Natynczyk (Leslie); sister Susan Natynczyk; niece Margaret; nephews William (Denise) and John Natynczyk; relatives in Germany, England and Spain as well as neighbours and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Irene and Alexander Natynczyk. Evelyn enjoyed her job at the Health Sciences Centre as Charge EKG Technologist and was an expert in her field. She was respected by her colleagues with whom she enjoyed chatting about many topics; the Winnipeg Blue Bombers was but one. She developed many friendships with her colleagues and had a great deal of respect for all of them; especially of Dr. P. Garber. Evelyn also worked for H R Block during peak tax season. Her winter vacation always needed to be completed by February so she could dive right into the new tax year. She loved number crunching and the satisfaction of working with her regular clients as well as new ones. Evelyn was looking forward to returning to the lake this April to enjoy the sun, water and her gardening. It was at the lake that she discovered her love of her ATV and blueberry picking. The early morning dew on the fresh berries kept her going back for more despite once getting lost. The ATV became a part of her, especially when it was time to give the dogs a good run. She motored into the bush paths enjoying the scenery. Evelyn was a loving mother to Katherine; her sunshine. She loved her baby through thick and thin and always spoke with pride about her. Katherine will miss her mummy . K.C., her faithful dog will miss the head scratching and being spoiled. Evelyn loved her dog who she considered to be her second baby. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers had a die-hard fan in Evelyn. Although she couldn't get to the games people around her could hear the cheers or jeers through the walls of her home or at the lake. She loved her Bombers. I will miss you my dear sister. Visitation will be between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 with prayers starting at 4:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011 also at Bardal Funeral Home with the Reverend Father Raymond Lillis officiating. Following a reception, interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Funeral Home Crematorium 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Ample parking behind the funeral home. Condolences: www.bardal.ca
