EDWARD RICHARD STELFOX 1941 - 2011 Suddenly on the evening of February 22, 2011, at the Grace Hospital, we lost a part of us. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Christine, his mother and father Edward and Ruth Stelfox, daughters Elizabeth (Tony) Cesario, Shelli (Jay) Paquette and grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Maria and Sarah. We have lost a loving and dedicated husband and son, amazing and supportive Dad and proud, fun, loving, doting Gaga. Ed will be sadly missed by lifelong friends Barbara and Michael Ballnik, Lyle Handford and extended family in Ottawa, Vincent, Ana, Luke and Sam DeRose. Ed spent many years in the Insurance Industry here in Winnipeg and across Canada, receiving his Life Membership from the Honourable Order of the Blue Goose in 2008. Prior to retirement he was able to work alongside long time friend Bob Dott, who made the final stretch of his career full of laughs. Following Ed's (Dad's) wishes, cremation has taken place and will be followed by a private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9 and or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9.
