DONNA MAE ROBIDOUX July 7, 1951 - February 10, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Donna on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Grace Hospital with her family by her side at the age of 59 years. Left to cherish Donna's memory are her parents, Henry and Stella; brothers, Kelly, Michael (Judy); sister Karen; nieces, Jessica, Janelle, Danielle and Colette. Donna was employed at Norshel, where mailing, labeling and packaging services are done. She loved to go shopping at the mall, and to go to restaurants such as McDonalds and Tim Horton's. In the summer, Donna and her friends would go to Lakeview Hotel in Gimli and enjoy the pool and shop in the boutiques. She never walked out of the shops without purchasing some jewelry and a long dress, which she wore at Norshel's annual banquet and dance. Donna enjoyed crocheting, painting and sitting on a deck swing with a cup of coffee. A private funeral service was held in Donna's memory on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Special thanks to Ali and Shanaz for their loving care during her stay at their home. The family would also like to thank Dr. Harris and the nurses on the 4th floor at the Grace Hospital for their compassionate care during her short stay there, as well as Major Doris Jarvis for being with Donna during and after her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's memory to Norshel Incorporated, 24-5 Scurfield Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G3. Psalm 118:5 I called upon the Lord in distress. The Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
