He received an Honorary Doctorate from The University of Manitoba in 2003 and this year, he was named an Officer of the Order of Canada. The family gives special thanks to his assistant and dear friend, Ana Santos, his personal caregiver, Hazel Calaque, and the very caring staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, particularly Dr. T. Fatoye. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dear Arlyne and Paul: We were very saddened to learn of Harry's passing this week. He was a very special friend of my dad Earle Bowman and we have such fond memories of visits from Harry and Irene. Recently, we framed our ketuba, and Harry's signature is there, as witness to our wedding in 1993. We send you love and condolences.
