Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCYNA HELEWSKI It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lucyna Helewski on February 24, 2011 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 89. Lucyna was born on December 13, 1921 in Poland. She came to Canada in 1978 where she met her future husband with whom she spent many happy years. Lucyna was a member of Sokol No. 1 where she enjoyed being with Teofil and their close friends. Left to cherish her memory are three children, Eva (Ted) of Winnipeg, Adam (Anna) and Marek (Stanislawa) of Poland also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
