Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT (ABBEY) EDWARD DOWD Passed away at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, MB on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the age of 57 years, Albert Abbey Edward Dowd of Glenboro, MB. Abbey leaves to mourn his passing son Ryan Dowd of Winnipeg, MB, mother Isabelle, brothers Morley and George (Andrea McKay) all of Glenboro, MB, sisters Margaret May (Richard) Cockle of Thompson, MB, Dorothy (Brian) Robertson of Carberry, MB, and Darlene Marsh of Winnipeg, MB, as well as extended family and friends. Abbey was predeceased by his father Nelson in July 1981. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Interment to follow in the Glenboro Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Abbey's memory to Glenboro Curling Club, Box 337, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0.
