JAMES (JIM) MCKAY It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of James (Jim) McKay, aged 57, of Tolstoi, Manitoba. He was born June 13, 1953 in Manitou to George and Audrey McKay. He leaves behind his wife Deb of 22 years; his children, Kirby (Tricia) McKay, Nicole (Michael) Stupak, Bobbi-Jo (Joey) Moshenko and eight grandchildren that he loved dearly, Brenna, Kirby Jr., Faith, Alexa, Brooklyn, Colton, Kristin and Samantha. He also leaves behind three sisters and one brother Lori (Maurice) Rachul, Lillian (Charlie) Hildebrand, Georginia (John) Unrau, Alex (Diana) McKay and sister-in-law Mariel McKay. His mother Audrey, mother-in-law Dorothy Schnell, brothers-in-law Larry (Doris) Schnell, Ralph Schnell and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father George, brother John and father-in-law Otto Schnell. His first passion was driving truck, which he made a career of, followed by raising his cattle. He leaves behind his best friend, his dog Harley. Service to be held at the Friedensthal Zion Lutheran Church, on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre Cancer Unit.
