Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY DROHOMERESKI (nee RUREK) Peacefully, on February 27, 2011, Mary fell asleep in death. She had resided at the Gimli Betel Home for three years. Mary was born on November 24, 1916 in St. Martin, MB. She married Merlin in September, 1944. Together they owned and operated St. Andrew's Grocery Store in Winnipeg Beach from 1946 to 1977. Mary was predeceased by her husband in May, 2004. She is survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and her spiritual family in Winnipeg Beach Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. For over 70 years, Mary zealously shared her faith in the Bible's promise of a paradise earth in which there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death. (Rev. 21:4). A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Winnipeg Beach Kingdom Hall, Hwy. 9 and Kernsted Road with Jeff Navarro officiating.
