Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Max lived with my sister years ago and they had children together. Max moved away to Sioux Lookout to live with his lady Colleen. I didn't see him for a long time so I was surprised to run into him so many years later. Max was a funny person to be around and could make one laugh in a second if he wanted to. (He had a subtle wit) Although Max may have faced some challenges in his life, he was liked and loved by many. I will miss going downtown and not seeing you there strumming away on your guitar. I hope you have found peace Max, you made the world a brighter place to be in. I hope you have found some peace, Max. May you be surrounded by love and light that you may not have felt here at times. Thank you for being here. - Posted by: Cindy Reid (ex- sister in law) on: Jan 21, 2013

  • I never knew uncle Max in his younger years, he was swallowed up in the CFS scoop along with his surviving brother Arthur, and sister Annette. Their mother and my grandmother Isabel, God rest her soul, passed away before they were reunited with siblings much later. He went through some rough times the last few years but every time I saw him he always had something nice to say and saw the positive in everything. That's how I remember him, coming over for coffee and watching movies with my daughter and I. Rest in peace uncle Max, and say hi to Granny Isabel. We miss you both very much. - Posted by: Frankie Seymour (Nephew) on: Feb 03, 2012
