HEIN VONDERBANK Hein (Hendrikus Laurentius) Vonderbank passed away peacefully at the age of 79 with his family by his side on Thursday, March 3, 2011. Hein was born on February 25, 1932 in Roelofarendsveen, the Netherlands. He was the oldest of 18 children born to Nicolaas and Johanna Vonderbank. In 1980, he moved his family to La Broquerie, Manitoba in order to provide a better future for his children while pursuing his life long dream of owning a dairy farm. After 10 years he retired and built his dream house where they enjoyed a happy retirement. Beside spending time with his family, Hein loved music, gardening, playing cards and his hobby farm'. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends and all the people he ever delivered flowers to. A special thank you goes out to the wonderful staff at both St. Adolphe personal care home and Rest Haven Nursing Home.
