EVA IRENE MOONEY (nee Wall) Born June 12, 1921 at Clearwater, MB; on February 25, 2011 Eva passed away at the Concordia Hospital after a lengthy stay. Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) in 1976, brother Edgar Wall in 1978, and longtime family friend Hugh Clements in 2005. Eva is survived by her children Wayne (Shirley), Lynda, and Larry (Bev), also sister Marie Costello, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was also looking forward to two new arrivals in August. Eva retired in 1976 after a lengthy career with M.T.S. Enjoyed lifelong interests in bowling, knitting and travel. Always looked forward to playing Bingo, Bacci Ball and shuffle board with friends at Concordia Village, which had been her residence for the past five years. The Family extends a heartfelt Thank-You to the staff at N-1 Concordia Hospital for the care and compassion given to Mom the past few months. In Lieu of flowers the family invites you to make a donation in Eva's Memory to the Lung Association of Manitoba, the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or a Charity of your Choice. A service for the Celebration of Eva's life will be announced at a later date.
