DENNIS ALBERT ZILKIE July 2, 1935 - March 3, 2011 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Dennis Zilkie. He passed away at the age of 75 after a brave journey with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife Joyce, his one true love, his children Rosemarie (Robert), Edward (Dennis), Leslie (Judith), Patrick (Rose), Paul (Valeri), foster children Weslie and Christopher (Tina), 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, siblings Don (Doreen), Larry (Lois), sisters-in-law Ena and Nora as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by mother Agnes and father Albert, brothers Orville and Earl. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., both at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West. The family would like to extend special thanks to Valarie and the staff of the Concordia Cancer Ward and Palliative Care Nurses for all their help and support.
