ANNE MARIE SMART (nee FEHR) 1939 - 2011 Anne Marie Smart (Fehr), peacefully with her family at her side, passed away at the age of 71 years on March 3, 2011. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband of 48 years, Barrie, her daughter, Cheryl (Alvaro), sons, Richard (Penny), Brent (Renee) and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, James, Cristovao and Tanci. She also leaves behind to mourn, six brothers and five sisters, extended family and special friends too numerous to mention. Anne was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Mom's one true passion in life was her love of her family. She never missed an opportunity to brag about her children and grandchildren, taking great pride in celebrating every milestone and accomplishment with them. Mom's home was an open door; she always had a pot of coffee and fresh baking for all. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed curling and golf but mostly loved to create special handiwork to pass on to her children, grandchildren and friends. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler EMM Church, 600 Southview Dr. with interment to follow at Chapel Cemetery in Morden. The family wishes to say thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Boundary Trails Health Centre for providing such wonderful care to mom. Mom will always be with us, inspiring us, watching over us with her beautiful smile.
