RUDOLPH BOYKO It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Rudy Boyko. He passed away at the age of 75 after a lengthy struggle with heart disease. He leaves to mourn his sudden passing his wife of 53 years Margaret, daughters Sheryl (Mooch), Brenda (Kevin) and son Jeff (Michelle) and his precious grandchildren Michelle (Travis), Melanie, Denée, Danika, Zachary and Eric. Rudy is also survived by his brother Eddy (Irene) and sisters Irene (Alphonse) and Helen, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Anne and sisters Jean, Madeline and Elvie plus brothers-in-law Alex, Walter and Fred. Dad was born November 28, 1935 in East Selkirk, MB. He married Margaret on September 20, 1958 starting their married life in Selkirk for three years before moving to St. Andrews where they resided for 34 years. The last 12 years of his life were spent in Beausejour. Dad's career as a bread wrapper spanned from age 16 to retirement in August, 1989. He excelled at carpentry and gardening. His passions in life were his family, especially his grandchildren, and fishing at the cottage. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 403 First Street N., Beausejour, officiated by Pastor Bart Coleman. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be his nephews David and Leonard Zdrill, Gary and Brad Saluk, Brent Heckert and Terry Boyko. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rudy to the Heart Stroke Foundation or the Zion Memorial Fund.
