ROBERT HARUO MIYATA Served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 22 years in Logistics In Ottawa on March 3, 2011 at the age of 46 after a courageous battle with his illness. Born on April 3, 1964 in Winnipeg, MB, he is survived and missed by his parents Tsutomu and Haruko Miyata; his devoted wife of 25 years, Christine (nee Lavergne); his three sons who stood by his side David, Colin and Dominic; his sister Tannis (Mark Steiman) and their children Max, Miya and Jack. Rob will be dearly remembered by the Lavergne and Matsubara families, his extended family and many dear friends. Special thanks to Dr. Sweet, the staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus and Windsor Park United Church in Winnipeg, MB.
