LOUIS GEORGE JOSEPH MANGIN Quietly and peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2011 with family at his side, Louis Mangin of Holland, MB passed away at the Tiger Hills Health Centre in Treherne, MB at the age of 79, after a courageous battle with cancer. Louis was blessed to have his nephew Father Paul Bisson and Father John McKenzie giving him communion and administering him the last rites during his last weeks. In his last days, he was asked what he wanted people to pray for. His reply was Thy Will Be Done. Louis leaves to mourn his passing his brothers and sisters Marie, Gérard, George, Frank, John and Thérèse. He also leaves to mourn many nephews and nieces. Louis was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ernestine (Simoens) Mangin, stepmother Elizabeth (Murray) Mangin, brothers Louis and Emile, as well as a brother and a sister who died at birth. During his lifetime, Louis worked with his brothers, first in farming, then in carpentry, as well as carpentry for Paul Foidart. He will be missed. Prayers will be said on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in Budz Funeral Chapel, Holland, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the St. Gerard Catholic Church, Bruxelles, MB at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011. Father Paul Bisson celebrant and Father John McKenzie concelebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Gerard Parish Cemetery.
