SHIGERU GARY TSUYUKI It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Shigeru on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 80 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Yoko, son Richard (Grace), daughter Debbie (Don), six grandchildren, Niina, Emiko, Ayumi, Dariyan Hideki, Miya and Kiyomi, two brothers Toshio and Yoshiaki (Kurako), sisters Yuriko, Yaeko and Aiko, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Shigeru was an active member of the Manitoba Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and a member at Interlake Golf Club. His joys in life were spending time with his family, his grandchildren, a round of golf and working in his garden. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Shigeru's name may be made to the Manitoba Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
