LEONARD P. FRIESEN December 31, 1921 - March 6, 2011 Peacefully, on March 6, 2011 at Victoria General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Len Friesen of Winnipeg passed away at the age of 89 years. Len is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Denise (Remillard), children Ken (Donna), Darlene (Donald), Darrel, Carol (Tod), grandchildren Jamie, Cory, Christy, Chris, Sonya, Abby and great-grandchildren Hailie, Caitlin, Jonathan and Zoey. Also left to mourn is Len's sister Anne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Len was predeceased by his parents Henry and Anna Friesen, as well as his brothers Ed and Henry. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church located at 881 Autumnwood Dr. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. This Foundation's research gave us an extra 40 years with our beloved Dad and for that we are eternally grateful.
