MARTIN LEONARDO MACALTAO Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at the Riverview Health Centre, Martin Macaltao passed away at the age of 78 years. Martin was predeceased by his parents Sixto and Trinidad Macaltao, brother Sabino, sister Leticia and two infant children Martinito and Marlina. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved and devoted wife of 55 years Marieta, their children: Erlito (Teofy), Marfelito (Bhel), Marita (Rafaelito), Maryvette (Odelio), Marichi (Rolando), Marflorendo (Esmeralda), Maryjoy Ann (Renald), Mariceille (Geraldo), Maryflor (Florencio), 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many dear friends. Martin was passionate in his work and church ministries and gained friends at St. John's Cathedral (Dagupan City, Philippines), Home of Peace, St. Mary's Cathedral, Christ the King and St. Emile Parishes in Winnipeg. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m, St. Emile Parish, 556 St. Anne's Road with Father Robbie MacDougald celebrant. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks are extended to the Palliative Care doctors and community care nurses for their loving care and support given to Martin and his family.
