JANA IRENA VANDAS HAGGLUND It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Jana on March 9, 2011 after a four year battle with cancer. Jana leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband and best friend Brian, her dear angel daughters Jessica and Krista and parents Jan and Eva Vandas. Jana was born March 13, 1965 in Prague, Czechoslovakia and came to Canada with her parents in 1968. Jana spent most of her life in St. James and had a passion for life and learning. She graduated from St. James Collegiate, the University of Winnipeg and earned her master degree in Museum Studies from University College London (UCL), London England. Jana cared most for her family and friends, those that knew her knew her passion, especially for her daughters, she would do anything for them. The family would like to thank all those who helped during Jana's illness... you know who you are. Jana wanted to especially acknowledge her palliative nurse who became her friend, Chris... you are fabulous. In accordance with Jana's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held, if friends so desire donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Don't worry about a thing cause every little thing gonna be all right. Ahoj
