JEFFREY HUGH BOULT It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey, our beloved husband, father and brother, on Sunday, March 6, 2011. He is now at peace after a long-standing, courageous battle with depression. Left to mourn Jeff's memory is his wife of over 20 years of marriage, Sandi (Putnam); daughter Brittany; sons Cameron and Corey (Stephanie); the boys' mother, Rosemary Scurfield (Bob); brothers Ian (Judy), David (Carol), and Brian (Christine); parents-in-law, Donald and Marion Putnam as well as many special nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his mother in 1998 and by his father in 1986. Since that time, Don and Marion Putnam have stepped into the role of parents and have been tremendous friends, which he considered a true blessing. On August 14, 1953 Jeff was born in Winnipeg to Dr. Frank and Barbara Boult. He lived his entire life in Winnipeg and spent his summers annually at Creina, the family cottage on Lake of the Woods. Jeff graduated from Kelvin High School and completed his education at Red River Community College, obtaining a diploma in business. He enjoyed many jobs with various employers, where he developed many lasting friendships that became a very important part of his life. We would like to extend a special thanks to Lance Sidor, Leonard Bye, Steve Bollegraf, Cameron McCulloch, Brad Enns and Mike Dew for their enduring support over the past several years. Jeff was most known for and happiest while doing woodwork. He built many speakers, decks and furniture over the years. He enjoyed all music (except for rap), meticulously tending to his lawn, and fishing on Lake of the Woods. Jeff was extremely proud of his three children who always brought joy into his life. His wife, Sandi, remains a constant source of stability for the entire family, always providing selfless dedication and unwavering support. She was and always will be Jeff's strength, his love, and the reason he was with us for so long. Jeff genuinely valued and respected the time and attention that Dr. Koochesfahani devoted to him. They will always share a special bond. Jeff had many dear friends on Fieldstone Bay and enjoyed spending time with the Blazin' Butts . This group of neighbours will also be forever recognized for their support, particularly John Stewner, who was a saviour to the family in Jeff's final moments. A private Funeral Service for Jeff has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's memory can be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or an organization of choice.

Buzz, I was so sorry to hear about your brother Jeff. I didn't know him well at all but can only imagine how difficult it must be for everyone in your family to lose a loved one so young. Trish and I are thinking of you. - Posted by: David Morton (Friend) on: Mar 20, 2011
