Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) ZAMKOTOWICH It is with great sadness that we the family announce Bob's sudden passing on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the age of 66 years. His memory will be forever cherished by his devoted wife Dianna of 43 years; his only son Kyle (Doreen); and his two precious grand-children, Bree and Nathan. He is also survived by his brother David Zamko of Kamloops, BC; his two sisters, Grace and Shirley of Winnipeg; as well as his mother-in-law Pearl Zahaiko. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anne; father-in-law Michael Zahaiko; and sister-in-law Diane Zamko. Bob was born on December 20, 1944 in Medika, MB. He grew up on the family farm till he gained employment with CN and later with TransCanada Pipeline, retiring in 2000. He loved all sports, learning everything he could about cars, fishing with his buddies, challenging salesmen, vacations and spending time with his Grandkids. Prayers will be held on Monday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, also at the church, with Rev. Dr. Greg Zubacz officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Shupenia, Frank Favoni, Frank Gramiak, Tony Nowosad, Dennis Homenuik and Tony Drewniak. If friends so desire, donations in Bob's memory may be made to St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church or to a charity of their choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
