OLLIE MURRAY (nee STOROSCHUK) April 18, 1927 - February 9, 2011 It is with great sadness and loving memories that we announce the passing of Ollie Murray at Hilton Villa Care Centre, Vancouver, BC following a stroke. She was predeceased by her husband Sam in March, 1975 after 27 years of marriage. Sam and Ollie's favourite pastime was golf, entertaining and visiting with friends. Ollie was a creative individual who made many of her own clothes and household items and will be remembered as a truly beautiful lady. She was very devoted to her husband Sam and to the Royal Oak Legion, putting her time and energy into Poppy Drives and Remembrance Day every year. Ollie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sister Mary Kowalczuk of Grande Pointe, MB, her brother Jerry Storoschuk of Midland, ON and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ollie's wish is that her ashes be placed beside her husband Sam at Mountainview Cemetery in Vancouver, BC. I've done my work, I've sung my song, and I shall go where I belong, The Lord has willed it so. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
