ERNEY H. GRANT It is with great sorrow the family of Erney Grant announces his passing on March 10, 2011 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Betty in August 1995. Left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Neil (Laura) and daughter Alyssa, Robert and daughters, Jaime and Jennifer, and Carl (Nancy) and children, Jason, Stephanie and Joshua. Also left to mourn his passing are his six great-grandchildren. Erney retired with over 35 years of faithful service to the Hudson Bay Company. Erney will best be remembered for his love of card playing with his sons and grand-children. As well he enjoyed his Tuesday nights playing cards with the Kiwanis ladies. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
