Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA KATE (KAY) ZACHARY Eva Kate Kay Zachary of Treherne, MB, formerly of Holland, MB passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home in Treherne, MB at the age of 98 years. Left to mourn Kay's passing are her daughters Margaret Landy of Thunder Bay, ON, and Carol (Roy) MacKenzie of Vancouver, BC, grandchildren Katrina (Tim), Karol (James), Kyla (Michael), Kenneth (Kristi), William, Joyce (Manuel), Kate, William and Georgia, great-grandchildren Zachary, Stuart, Anna, Mathieu and Julia and adopted World Vision granddaughter Aslina KaroKaro. Kay was predeceased by her loving husband Harry, infant son Brian Henry, her parents Archie and Eva (nee Matchett) McLachlan, Sadie Greenway, brothers Hugh and Archie (Doris), sister May Dupasquier, sisters-in-law Dorothy Plunkett and Kit Bessie, and her son-in-law Leonard Landy. A celebration of Kay's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Holland Emmanuel Historic Site. Interment will follow in the Brookdale Cemetery.
