DARCY GLEN VIBERG Darcy Glen Viberg passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Winnipeg MB at the age of 42 on March 7, 2011. Darcy was born in Broadview, SK on November 22, 1968 to parents Clarence and Joyce Viberg. He was the fifth of six children. Darcy attended his schooling in Broadview. After graduation, Darcy worked with various companies in Regina and Winnipeg, most recently with Protelec Securities in Winnipeg MB. Darcy loved to play hockey: from minor hockey in Broadview to an adult sponge hockey league in Winnipeg. He also loved to fish and golf; attending many trips with friends. The one other true love was the Saskatchewan Roughriders; even though he lived in Winnipeg for many years, he still had his Rider Pride. Darcy was predeceased by his father, Clarence Viberg Darcy is survived by his mother, Joyce Viberg; brothers Wayne, Gordon (Laurie), Garnet and John (Cristy) Viberg; sister Sandy (Clifford) Markwart; nephews Shawn (Kathryn), Aaron (Becky) and Steven Markwart, Justin Wolfe; niece Khiana Kirby-Viberg; and his beloved cat, Peanut. Funeral service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Broadview Community Hall at 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will also be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Bison Room at The Quality Inn, 635 Pembina Hwy.
