Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINA REMPEL (born Ekatrina Friesen) January 13, 1913 - March 14, 2011 Christina was born in Steinfeld, Ukraine, Russia, and passed away in Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn her daughter Betty (Len) Dolenuck; granddaughter Kim Dolenuck (Don Gareau); grandson Kevin Dolenuck and granddaughter Michelle Rempel; sisters-in-law Sally Tate, Neta Smith, Elie Rempel, Kay Rempel as well as many nieces and nephews. Christina was predeceased by her dear husband Peter Rempel, and son Barry. Viewing will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Klassen Funeral Home, from 7:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Avenue. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of the Dear Lodge Center for their care for Christina over the past two years.
