IRENE MAY STOOKE (nee EAGLETON) June 22, 1913 - March 15, 2011 Shortly after her birth in Edmonton, AB Irene and her parents Sidney and Mary Eagleton moved to Winnipeg where she spent the rest of her long and full life. Irene is survived by her daughter Barbara (Les Macey) of Halifax; her son David (Cher); four grandchildren, Shannon Macey (Greg Delbridge), Neil Macey (Ellie Dennis), Sean (Jennet) Stooke and Marlo Stooke (Shawn Frosst) as well numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Walter Stooke as well as her parents and one brother Ted Eagleton. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the care workers, staff and volunteers at Jocelyn House for their loving care and attention to detail given to Irene and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jocelyn House, 177 Egerton Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 2W7, or the Salvation Army, Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2.
