MONA MARIE IRENE MESSNER Mona passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Victoria General Hospital in NS with her family by her side. Born November 6, 1962, in Swan Lake, MB. She was the beloved daughter of Antoine and Hermance (Lesage) Messner of Somerset, MB. She is survived by husband Greg Lane; son, Shawn; sisters Georgette Messner (Paul Lapointe) and Muriel Gervais; brothers, Tony (Patricia), Gerry (Susan), Brian (Melanie) Messner. Mona will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mona worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at Atlantic Wholesalers in Lakeside, NS. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, Rev. Father Ignatius Amponsah officiating in Windsor, NS In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Mona.
