OLGA OLIVE GINTER (PYNDYKOWSKI) Peacefully, with family by her side, Olga passed away at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home on March 17, 2011 five days shy of her 89th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Ginter, parents Joseph and Maria, brothers: Michael, Walter and Stanley. She leaves to mourn daughter Sandra Abrahams (Norman), son Larry, brother John Pendekowski, sisters: Anne Yaworsky, Genya Soltes, and Elsie Miklash, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Olga was born on March 22, 1922 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She met her husband Ernie in Winnipeg and married in 1947. They moved to Vancouver, BC in 1950 where they raised their family. After a lengthy illness, Ernie passed away in 1962. Olga returned to Winnipeg in 1970 to care for her aging parents. Olga lived for many years with her sister Elsie Miklash enjoying three generations of nieces and nephews, whom she adored. Olga enjoyed a special bond with each and every person in her life. Her sense of humour brought joy and laughter into the lives of all. Very seldom serious, Olga constantly told stories and jokes, keeping everyone around her in stitches. Even in Olga's final days, her strength and famous smiles were a great comfort to her family. Family celebrations brought the greatest joy. Olga was very creative, she enjoyed needle work, crafts, gardening, and puzzles. Olga's favourite outings were trips to the casino and playing bingo. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the loving and caring staff (her other family) at River Park Gardens for their kindness and compassionate care. As per Olga's wishes, cremation and a private family memorial service has already taken place. Goodbye to our loving Mother, Sister and Aunt you are forever in our hearts and May you rest in peace. Olga's favourite goodbye was, I love you so much it hurts me! Olga we love you so much it hurts. Online condolences may be made at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550 www.glenlawn.ca
