LILLIAN ALICE BUTTERFIELD (Atkinson) November 7, 1918 - March 13, 2011 Lillian passed away March 13, 2011 after a courageous battle against heart disease and cancer. Born in Hull, England and came to Canada in 1922. Lillian is survived by her son Richard Dale Butterfield, granddaughter Christine (Greg), great-grandsons Kyle and Ethan Falk of Morden MB, grandson Richard Jr., great-grandson Kye of BC. Lillian would like to give Thanks to her beloved and devoted son, Richard, Pat (Justus) and family who took care of all her special needs, to former husband Edward who passed in 2006 and wife Lucille for their special kindness, Lions Place, Her Home Care Workers, Doctors, Nurses and staff of D4 D5 Health Sciences Centre and to all the nice people she met along her way in life. Respecting Lillian's wishes cremation has taken place a celebration of life gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at The Norwood Hotel, 112 Marion Street between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Light lunch and refreshments - Cash Bar) Interment to follow at a later date.
