Beloved husband, father, grandfather, teacher and friend. Predeceased by Hazel in 1994 and Evelyn in 2010. Survived by daughters Patricia Peach, Prince George and Linda MacDiarmid, Winnipeg; granddaughters Dana MacDiarmid, Auckland, New Zealand and Lauren MacDiarmid (Jason Nelin), Winnipeg; sister Doreen (Willard) Cooper, Melville, Saskatchewan. Friends can join in a celebration of his life in the Magnolia Room, The Wellesley, 2800 Blanshard Street, Victoria on Saturday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Victoria Hospice Foundation or to Development Advancement Services, University of Manitoba or The University of Winnipeg Foundation.
