HOWARD A.J. EDMUNDS On March 10, 2011, Howard Edmunds, born December 20, 1925 in Selkirk, Manitoba, passed away in Edmonton, Alberta. Howard was predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia on August 25, 2009. They were married for 63 years. Howard leaves to mourn his passing, two daughters, Catherine Edmunds of Edmonton, Barbara (Wayne) Jones of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario; one son, Gordon (Lindsey) Edmonds of Winnipeg; two grandsons, Scott (Andrea) Edmonds of Winnipeg, Robert (Alison) Jones of Woodbridge; great-granddaughters, Kayla of Winnipeg and Kailey of Woodbridge, Ontario. Howard served overseas during the Second World War as an air gunner with the 427 Lion Squadron R.C.A.F. Howard worked for Imperial Oil and Syncrude for 40 years as Fire, Safety and Security Coordinator, an endeavor he thoroughly enjoyed. He will be sadly missed as is his dear wife, Patricia by family and friends. Cremation will take place at Hainstock's Funeral Home in Edmonton with interment service to take place in St. John Anglican Cathedral Columbarium, 135 Anderson Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy can be forwarded to the family via the website, www.hainstockedmonton.com Hainstock's Funeral Home Crematorium 780-440-2999 Honoured Provider of Dignity Memorial.
