FRANK THOMAS ROBERT RYNHART On Monday, March 14, 2011, at the Gimli Community Health Centre, Frank Thomas Robert Rynhart passed away. Frank was predeceased by his father, Richard in 1936, his mother Emily in 1977, his first wife Annette (Balla) in 1973, his second wife Dorothy (Hall) in 1996, and his sister Doris Boittiaux (John) in 2002. Born on December 8, 1918 in Winnipeg, Frank joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941 and served in Europe for the duration of the Second World War, returning to Canada in 1946. Frank worked for C.P.R. for 32 years in several capacities before retiring in 1990 and moving to Winnipeg Beach. His time at the Beach was special for both him and Dorothy. Frank was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61 in Winnipeg Beach and belonged to the New Horizons Plus 55 in Gimli. At Frank's request, no funeral will take place and a private interment will be arranged at a later date. Special thanks to a small group of friends and caregivers who helped make Frank's A.D. years (After Dorothy) pleasurable and meaningful and allowed him to live independently in the community until his final days. Frank's weekly jaunts with Steve were a special highlight and meant a tremendous amount to him.
