Larry was predeceased by his father Allan, mother Marjorie and infant sister Judith. Larry was born on August 28, 1943 in Miami, MB and moved to Carman shortly thereafter. Larry worked alongside his father Allan at Carman Frosted Foods and later took over the family business. He was an active member in the Royal Canadian Legion and the Masonic Lodge. He served on the town council and was active in the business community. In the early years he was an avid hunter and in the later years an avid fisherman. Playing any form of cards, but in particular cribbage was a favourite pastime.
