JOHN PROKOPICH With sadness, John Prokopich of Winnipeg passed from our lives on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at age 72. He leaves to mourn him his son Daniel, his daughters, Deanna (Todd) and Rose (John), grandchildren, Meagan, Karissa, Isabella, Bianca, Vicenza and Christopher, his sisters Mildred (Ben) and Mary, many nieces and nephews, in-laws Mary and Rose, along with his good friends Pete, Cheryl and Pat. John was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Helen of Ste. Anne, MB, brothers Joseph and Mike, sisters Julia (John), Helen (Frank) and Anne (Steve), and brothers-in-law Bill and Steve. John was born in Ste. Anne, MB and received his education at Ste. Anne School. He worked at Canada Packers for many years and established a successful business - Prokopich Roofing. His committed belief in his children, family and friends was strong and will be remembered. The family would like to thank Concordia Hospital staff, especially Laurie, Dehlia and Brin who cared for John during his time with them. Donations may be made in John's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Cremation has taken place and according to his wishes, no formal services will be held. For Our Father We love you . So easy for us to say I Love you is also what you would say Thank you easy for us to say But you would tell us... That's just a father's way We miss you is easy for us to say And I miss you is also what you would say But Goodbye so very hard to say! Because we really don't want you to go! Instead we'll say We love you, we miss you, thank you and in our hearts you'll stay. Love always...your family. God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change... Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference.
