RICHARD W. JOHNSON July 15, 1954 - March 19, 2011 It is with heavy Hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Richard W. Johnson. Left to treasure his memory are his sons Dennis (Chantel), Todd (Stacey), his mother, Helga Johnson, sister Birdeen (Harry), brother Valdi (Doreen), granddaughters, Tessa Lynne, and Savannah Lee Margaret, numerous nieces and nephews, many family members, and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his father Snibjorn Johnson. Rick was born in Arborg on July 15, 1954. He found himself travelling throughout Manitoba accomplishing anything that was thrown in front of him. After many years of travelling he found himself back home with his sons Dennis and Todd where he mastered his trade as a HVAC Technician. Running his business for 20 years was always a challenge, but Rick always found time to influence others with his knowledge. His dedication and devotion to his business was felt by all that worked around him. On top of being a devoted business man, son, father, afi, and friend, Rick would always be able to make anyone feel at home. Rick loved music, and was always outgoing. And for those of you who had the chance to share a night out with Rick, you know you were in for a long night of sharing, and good times. Rick always showed his fun loving, and caring side at the right moments, and will be a man that will truly be missed by all. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. which will be open to the public for those of you who wish to attend at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Arborg. Following the viewing a celebration will be held for Rick's life at the Arborg Community Hall at 2:00 p.m. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
