MURIEL ALICE VAN CAESEELE (nee Grover) December 7, 1923 March 23, 2011 On the evening of March 23, Muriel peacefully passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital with her devoted companion of 22 years, Ed and family by her side. She is survived by her children, Ellen (Lloyd), Bernadette and Robert; 11 grand-children; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband George, infant daughter Joann, son Patrick, son-in-law Walter Sr. and brother John. Mom worked at T. Eaton Co. for many years. She also loved to cook, bake, garden and going to the casino. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, MB. Her pallbearers will be Chris Fisher, Walter Walashek Jr., Dave Walashek, Jeff Walashek, Aaron Van Caeseele, Scott Van Caeseele and Chris Walashek. The family would like to thank the Selkirk General Hospital, paramedics, homecare (Janet) and nursing staff. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Muriel's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
