PASQUALE CALDAROLA May 23, 1935 March 24, 2011 Peacefully, with family by his side, Pasquale passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Tonia; his children Nino, Tina (Kevin), Teresa (Mike), and Marilena (Ryan). He will be lovingly remembered as a proud Nonno to Briana, Dante, Cristian, Justin, Gianluca, Sofia, and Simona. He will also be loved and remembered by his two sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews in Italy. Pasquale was born and raised in Bitonto, Italy and moved with his wife to Winnipeg in February 1969 and worked for over 30 years as a welder at Dominion Bridge. Following his retirement, he loved being with his family, watching soccer, music and dancing, and gardening. He also enjoyed travelling to Hawaii every year with his wife. Vigil prayers will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., with Reverend Father Sam Argenziano officiating. Following Mass, Entombment will be held at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3Y 1G4.
