ELIZABETH (BETTY) STOUT 1933 2011 After a brief courageous struggle with lung cancer, Mom passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on March 21, 2011 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 78. Mom is now reunited with her husband Norman, daughter Marilyn, baby Shelly,by her parents, Peter and Sarah Dyck, brother Johnny, sisters Helen and Judy, and grandson, Jason. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Valerie (Bill), Debbie (Ed), Cheryl (Tim), Lori (Kelly); her grandchildren, Marlene, Heather, Rob, Kevin, Shelley, Brent, Melissa, Amanda, Ryan, Aaron, Kyle, Makiala and her 11 great-grandchildren and all who knew her. Also mourning her loss are her dear sisters, Marina, Rita (Arnel), Doris (John), Annette (Al) and sister-in-law Lori along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially Diane and neighbours. Mom grew up in Gladstone/Neepawa, MB and moved to Winnipeg in 1952 with her husband. In 1964 Mom joined the work force at Eaton's mail order department and retired at Scott Bathgate. Mom enjoyed many years at Stonewall Quarry Park and Miami Beach campground. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff, health care aids, nurses and doctors involved in Elizabeth's palliative care. Your honesty and compassionate care will be forever appreciated and remembered. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc.God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you and said Come unto Me. Mom you are truly missed by all your Children. So many wonderful memories you have given us.
