CARMELLE BOULET (nee JUBINVILLE) A la suite d'une lutte courageuse, Carmelle Boulet est décédée paisiblement à l'âge de 65 ans, le samedi 26 mars 2011 à l'hôpital Memorial de Lorne à Swan Lake, entourée de sa famille. Carmelle laisse dans le deuil son époux de 41 ans, Omer, leur deux enfants Marc (Shelby) et Chantal (John Shotton), et ses cinq petits-enfants; Abigail, Noah, Carter, Zea et Essen. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères et ses soeurs; Marcel Jubinville (Claudette), Lucille (George Moreau), Madeleine (Raymond Tardi), Eugène Jubinville (Gisele), Gabrielle (Edmond Boulet) et Ronald Jubinville. Elle fut précedée par ses parents Joseph et Corinne Jubinville (née Perron). Carmelle était une épouse et une mère très accueillante et de convictions fortes. Dévouée à sa famille et à sa communauté, elle était une inspiration pour tous qui l'entouraient. Ses passions dans la cuisine et du bricolage se manifestaient tout partout dans sa maison et dans sa cour. Elle adorait la nature, surtout les oiseaux, et cela lui donnait des années de plaisir en faisant du jardinage et du camping. Elle utilisait ses talents vocaux, inspirée par sa grande foi chrétienne, pour le bienfait de la communauté comme membre et soloiste de la chorale de l'église. Elle était impliquée dans des nombreuses activités bénévoles dans la paroisse, les Filles d'Isabelle, le Comité culturel et les soins palliatifs. Elle a entrepris plusieurs voyages à travers le monde avec son mari et sa famille. Toutes ses expériences, soit à la maison soit en voyage, ont été décrit soigneusement dans ses nombreux journaux intimes. Les prières auront lieu à 19h, le jeudi 31 mars au Salon mortuaire Desjardins à Saint-Boniface, avec chansons et video à 18h15. Une veillée mortuaire aura lieu à Somerset dans la résidence d'Omer, le vendredi 1er avril de 13h jusqu'à 17h. Bienvenue à la famille et aux amis. La célébration des funérailles aura lieu le samedi 2 avril à 14h en l'Eglise Notre Dame de la Nativité de Somerset, avec chansons et video à 13h. Inhumation suivra au cimetière paroissial. Les funérailles seront présidées par l'abbé Gabriel Lévesque. La famille désire remercier les docteurs: Woelk, Bruneau, Desmond, et Vakilha, ainsi que le personnel de l'hôpital Memorial de Lorne pour leurs soins et attentions envers notre épouse et mère. CARMELLE BOULET (nee JUBINVILLE) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing our wife and mother, Carmelle Boulet, on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the age of 65 years, at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake with her family by her side. Carmelle leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 41 years, Omer, their two children Marc (Shelby) and Chantal (John Shotton), and her five grandchildren: Abigail, Noah, Carter, Zea and Essen. She also leaves behind her siblings: Marcel Jubinville (Claudette), Lucille (George Moreau), Madeleine (Raymond Tardi), Eugene Jubinville (Gisele), Gabrielle (Edmond Boulet) and Ronald Jubinville. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Corinne Jubinville (nee Perron). A devoted wife and mother, her quiet strength and commitment to family and community continue to be a source of inspiration to everyone around her. Her warm and welcoming home was a busy beehive of personal touches, revealing a love of cooking, baking and crafting. Her deep love of nature manifested itself through many outdoor pursuits, including gardening and camping. She delighted everyone who heard her beautiful singing voice, especially as a faithful member and soloist in the church choir. Her widespread community involvement included an active role in the parish, the Daughters of Isabella, the Comité Culturel and as a palliative care volunteer. She also travelled extensively, both as a young woman and with her husband and family, engaging in a wide variety of experiences that she dutifully captured in her many journals. Prayers will take place at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street, St. Boniface on Thursday, March 31 at 7:00 p.m., with a song and video tribute starting at 6:15 p.m. A wake will be held at Omer's residence in Somerset on Friday, April 1 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Family and friends are most welcome. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Somerset Catholic Church on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m., with a song and video tribute at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Somerset Parish Cemetery. Fr. Gabriel Levesque will be officiating. The family would like to thank Drs. Woelk, Bruneau, Desmond and Vakilha and the staff of Lorne Memorial Hospital for their unsurpassed care and attention given to our dear wife and mother.
