JAMES (JIM) W. CONYERS Peacefully on March 29, 2011 Jim passed away, at the age of 75 years, with his wife by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Dale, daughters Carole (Aaron) and Lianne (David) and his precious granddaughters Emily and Ruby. Until his retirement in 2005, Jim worked for 47 years for Revenue Canada. He had a life-long interest in music, particularly in nostalgia radio in recent years. Special thanks to the staff at Riverview Palliative Care and 2West for their months of kind and compassionate care of Jim. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation. Afterglow I'd like the memory of me To be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow Of smiles when life is done I'd like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun Of happy memories That I leave when life is done. A celebration of Jim's life will be held for family and friends at the family home on Saturday, April 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
