Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARREN BRUCE ZAMKOTOWICH Sadly on Saturday, March 26, 2011 Darren Bruce Zamkotowich passed away in his sleep. Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter Kaitlyn Zamkotowich (Joey); his Dad and Mum (Ed and Donna Zamkotowich), brother Dean Zamkotowich (Debbie, Sara, Michelle, Nicole); stepbrother and stepsister Craig and Trish Kelley and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of both Health Sciences Centre and the St. Boniface Hospital with special thanks to the St. Boniface Dialysis Unit, whom Darren thought of as a second family, for all the kindness over the years. The celebration of his life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society.

I assume this is the same DARREN ZAMKOTOWICH that I went to school with back at Acadia Junior High. I moved away a long time ago. For years I couldn't remember his last name and then suddenly it came to me out of the blue. I was very saddened that when I searched on his name it produced this sad news. He was a good friend back then; Darren, another fellow, and I used to walk to school together in the mornings when I lived on Millikin.
