Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNE ALVIN WILLIMENT March 11, 1944 - March 30, 2011 Peacefully, surrounded by his family, our kind and gentle husband, father, and grandfather left us on March 30, 2011. Lorne is lovingly remembered by his precious family: Beverley, Wayne (Colette), Marlys (Barry), Kenneth (Melissa). He will be sadly missed by his greatest treasures in life his grandchildren: Travis, Justin, Taylor, Onaleigh, Makayla. He was looking forward to the arrival of his new grandchild. Lorne is survived by his brothers: Donald (Bev), Harvey (Linda), and Russel (Anne), brothers-in-law Murray (Darlene) and Bert (Judy), and many special neices, nephews, and cousins. Lorne spent his entire life on his family farm at Miami, MB except for a few years when he mined. He began his farming career in 1969 taking care of his land and preserving it for future generations. He was so proud of his number 1 wheat! Dad fought hard to stay on familiar ground - the farm he worked, the home he built, and with the people he loved. Thank you to the Miami Fire and Rescue, CRHA Ambulance, Carman Home Care Staff, Boundary Trails Medical Ward, Dr. Woelk, Dr. Berard, Dr. Howard Zacharias, and Dr. J. Tohme. Donations in Lorne's memory to Carman Home Care, Box 807, Carman, MB or Miami and Area Foundation, Box 334, Miami, MB would be deeply appreciated. Service to be held at Miami Community Centre on Monday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. Doyle's Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements (www.doylesfuneralchapel.com)
